For the past 26 years, Zedeck Siew has tried to enter into that most rarified class: adulthood. He has shaved his legs, taken sides in pointless conflicts, missed deadlines, put on eyeliner, and mended fences. He’s tried and tried. Yet always he has encountered failure.
Throughout this epic (fail) quest, you, his faithful friend, have shown patience and forbearance: not laughing too loudly at Zedeck’s foibles; ribbing him only gently for his awkwardnesses; holding back on the pithy but precise criticism that would destroy his psyche. In short: you’ve been kind.
