Pesta Belakang Sekolah: Pagar

We spent Saturday morning reinforcing our backyard fence: adding a foot-and-half of wire, patching up holes, and laying bricks along the bottom, making a dog-proof barrier. Hopefully this will keep those strays from the school out during Chinese New Year, and our darling cats (of which there are only two left, sadface) safe.

Also, Fence 2.0 is designed to provide Lot 1699 with less of a haunted-house look, so that when Pesta Belakang Sekolah finally happens (when, if), our shenanigans shall be received with less apprehension.

(Durian tree, coconut tree,

dunno-what bush Sharon’s hiding behind,

That epiphyte bush thing is a langsuyar, right?

and rambutan tree, rambutan tree, mangosteen tree, and curry-leaf tree.)

We’ll be getting rid of some of these trees soon. Too berlambak at the moment. So, amacam? Okay tak, this pentas?

Close-ups:

Aw, wook at the widdle kittehs, all locked up, can’t get into Education Ministry property and be mauled by dogs anymore, so they having a widdle prison-yard brawl …
