Ok, so we were too, too excited about finding stuff growing on our tree, which according to Zedeck only flowered ONCE during the 10 years he lived here.

Hark! A snake
Encounters with fauna continue at Lot 1699.
Couple of weeks ago, we found the cats ganging up on a snake in the shed. Damn murderers were lucky it was a harmless tree snake. Nanti bagi lu black cobra baru tau!

Grace Chin: Housesitter
I was at Lot 1699 for a few days while Zedeck & Sharon were away.
Their home is spacious and airy, it was ideal for writing / working without any interruptions. I didn’t have time to visit the beach (!) but it was good to visit eating places where people recognised me, ie. didn’t stare or think of me as an oddball … heh.

On Saturday afternoon I took an MRT to Tiong Bahru. Alfian Sa’at, playwright yang femes (and possible member of Perkasa, cawangan Singapura), had given in to my pestering and agreed to be my guide for the day. I waited for him at Tiong Bahru Plaza, the MRT station’s associated mall.
